In 1963, Robert Freed and several additional outstanding business owners and officers founded the Akron Executives’ Association. The sole purpose of the Executives’ Association is to promote business by sharing leads and doing business with fellow executives, both in our local association as well as with others in the International Executives’ Association, Inc. Millions of dollars have transferred in this association through leads and direct business between fellow members. The dollar value is benefit enough, but in addition, sharing business ideas, concerns and solutions is like free counseling with experts in their fields. Looking to the future, we should be poised to be sharper in our individual market places.
What is the difference between AEA and most other business groups? We accept only one member firm per business classification, thus eliminating conflict of interest when sharing leads or doing business with fellow members. We have business luncheon meetings each Thursday as well as several social events each year. If you are a business, who has been in business for at least 3 years, with an outstanding reputation in your classification, you may wish to contact AEA to see if we have an opening in your classification. We continue to seek new members who will be successful in AEA. This is a WIN-WIN relationship . . . and always remember, “Business Is Our Business”.
